We try to keep you posted about the progress made within this research project and about anything else that we come across and we find relevant to our quest of identifying ways to design trade policy that works in the interest of society.

  • Countries are adopting experimental trade policies to counteract trade liberalization’s negative effects, yet their efficacy is uncertain. Examples like the ACCTS and the EU’s CBAM illustrate innovative approaches but face risks of protectionism and backlash. Rigorous research is essential to evaluate these policies, ensuring they foster public trust and support sustainable trade practices.
